[Construction Example] On rock slopes with the risk of falling rocks such as floating stones and rolling stones.

A wire rope net is installed tightly against the slope! It suppresses the initial movement of loose stones and floating rocks, preventing them from becoming falling rocks.

We would like to introduce a case where the "Tezak Super Lock (net type)" was installed as a rockfall prevention rope work in the emergency response construction for the Wazuka Ide Line disaster prevention and safety grant. This project was commissioned by the Yamashiro North Civil Engineering Office in Kyoto Prefecture and was carried out in Kyoto Prefecture. The area covered is 600m2, and its purpose is rockfall countermeasures and prevention. This method involves installing wire ropes at 50cm intervals as auxiliary materials and is applicable to rock slopes that are at risk of floating stones and rolling stones. 【Case Overview】 ■ Project Name: Wazuka Ide Line Disaster Prevention and Safety Grant Emergency Response Construction ■ Location: Kyoto Prefecture ■ Construction Date: 2021 (Year 3 of Reiwa) ■ Area: 600m2 ■ Purpose: Rockfall countermeasures and prevention *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.

Rockfall prevention net

A lightweight and highly workable strong net designed to prevent the collapse and scattering of cut slopes.

This is a net designed to prevent the collapse and scattering of cut slopes. Made from synthetic fibers, it is free from concerns about corrosion and rust, lightweight, easy to work with, and easy to transport. It is also resistant to acids, alkalis, and mold, and performs well in muddy and salty water. Its easy installation makes construction costs low and economical. The attachment points for the fasteners have a strong structure, and the ears, which are particularly prone to damage, are reinforced with double weaves for high strength. The crimped weaving process ensures that there is no misalignment even after repeated use. 【Applications】 Roads, dams, tunnels, and land development sites.

An'ei Net Construction Examples

Introducing a case study of "An'ei Net" installation in rock fragmentation work.

The "An'ei Net" is a safety net for slopes. To protect workers from falling rocks during work and to prevent crushed stones from rolling down, we will introduce examples of the installation of the An'ei Net with photographs. In this case, the An'ei Net is also used to protect against stones that may fall from the work site and reach downstream houses or roads. 【Example】 ■ Client: Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism ■ Project Name: Maintenance Work for Nagai Dam in Yamagata Prefecture *For more details, please refer to the external link page or feel free to contact us.

Source control / rockfall prevention / rope laying work 'Tezak Super Lock'

Choose from three types to suit the site conditions! Helps stabilize floating stones scattered over a wide area on slopes.

The "Tezak Super Lock" is a method that suppresses the initial movement of loose rocks and boulders on slopes, which can cause falling rocks, through the deterrent and support force of flexible wire ropes and anchors. By installing wire ropes in a grid pattern on-site, it minimizes the need to fell standing trees on the slope, thus excelling in the protection of natural landscapes. Additionally, it can adapt to most terrains, and the materials used, such as wire ropes and anchors, are lightweight, enhancing workability. 【Features】 ■ Helps stabilize loose rocks scattered over a wide area of the slope ■ Does not compromise the natural landscape ■ Compatible with most terrains ■ Reduces the need for land acquisition for projects *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Lightweight and Rust-Free Network: A Collection of Case Studies in the Railway and Road Sectors Utilizing Excellent Properties

Rockfall measures / Stone masonry protection work / Slope protection work / Wildlife damage measures / Fall prevention net

The high-durability STK net is a rust-free polyester hexagonal net that serves as an alternative to wire mesh. Originally developed as a net for marine aquaculture, it has been repurposed for land applications, used for various purposes such as rockfall prevention, sediment control, wildlife damage prevention, and fall prevention. It is particularly adopted in the railway and road sectors due to its lightweight and durability (life cycle cost). You can download case studies from the link below. Please refer to it.
